Our story
From a store we could not fit out to fitting out stores.
About Rigga
A little about who we are.
Everything you need to bring your retail space to life.
RIGGA began in 2018 as a ready-to-wear clothing brand, born from a love of fashion and an interest in fashion retail.
Our journey into mannequins and shop fittings started quite unexpectedly. While setting up our first physical store on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Lagos, we struggled to find the mannequins, hangers and display fittings we envisioned for the space. This led us to source these products internationally, initially for our own store.
As other fashion entrepreneurs expressed interest in these products, we saw an opportunity to make them more accessible to businesses in the industry.
We eventually transitioned from ready-to-wear fashion into the retail and distribution of mannequins and shop fittings, offering everything from mannequins and dress forms to clothing racks, hangers and other retail display essentials.
Our journey took another turn when foreign exchange volatility, recurring freight damage and the challenges of importing quality mannequins led us to explore local production. What began as efforts to repair and refurbish damaged mannequins gradually introduced us to the manufacturing process.
Today, RIGGA has grown into a mannequin and shop-fitting business with operations spanning manufacturing, retail and rentals. At least 90% of the mannequins we sell are now proudly manufactured in our factory in Ogun State, Nigeria.
We are known for our distinctive collections of stylish, carefully designed mannequins, alongside a growing range of products and services that help fashion retailers, designers, brands and businesses create their retail spaces.
From our beginnings in ready-to-wear fashion to becoming a major player in the mannequin business, our journey has been shaped by curiosity, experience and a constant drive to find better ways to serve the industry.
RIGGA. Everything you need to bring your retail space to life.

Lape Olobayo · Founder and CEO
About the founder
Built by someone who needed it first.
RIGGA was founded by Lape Olobayo, whose interest in fashion and entrepreneurship inspired the business. Her vision has grown from a ready-to-wear clothing brand into a business serving the wider fashion retail industry.
Lape brings more than fifteen years of hands-on experience across the fashion and retail value chain: tailoring and garment production, fabric merchandising, running her own fashion store, importing and distributing mannequins and visual merchandising equipment and, more recently, local manufacturing.
RIGGA grew out of a problem she faced herself. Fitting out her first store, she could not find the mannequins and fittings she had in mind, so she went and found them. When other designers and retailers asked where they came from, she saw a business in solving that problem for everyone else.
As Founder and CEO, Lape stays close to the details: product design and quality, customer relationships and the custom work of Rigga Atelier. Under her leadership, RIGGA moved from importing to making locally, and today many of Lagos's established fashion retailers trust RIGGA to dress their spaces.
Her understanding of what a retailer actually needs, from the first sketch of a shop floor to opening day, still shapes everything we make.
Our commitment
Quality products, reliable service and continuous improvement.
Three promises, held up by the values our team lives by: Excellence, Consistency, Reliability, Innovation and Partnership.
Quality products
Every piece is finished to a showroom standard and built to last on busy shop floors, shoots and events, with the same quality and care on the first order and the hundredth.
Reliable service
Clear quotes, honest timelines and delivery when we say. We work alongside you from first brief to install, show you what you are getting before dispatch and keep you informed at every step.
Continuous improvement
New poses, finishes and ideas. We listen to the designers and retailers we serve and keep looking for better ways to make and to serve.
Sustainability and responsibility
Made to last. Made to be made again.
A mannequin should not end up in a landfill because of a chip or a broken hand. We design, make and look after our pieces so they stay in use for as long as possible, and we build our business in a way that is fair to the people behind it.
A women-led business
RIGGA is founded and led by a woman, and 85% of our team are women. We are proud to create skilled work and leadership opportunities for women in manufacturing and retail.
Repair before replace
Through Rigga Atelier, damaged and tired mannequins are repaired, resprayed and refinished, giving them an extra life on the shop floor instead of a trip to the dump.
A second life for every piece
Pieces that can no longer serve as mannequins are converted into useful, reusable items such as planters and seats.
Rent, not just buy
Our rentals let one mannequin, rack or plinth serve many shows, shoots and pop-ups, so fewer new pieces need to be made.
Made closer to home
Making most of our mannequins in Nigeria cuts long-distance freight, the breakage that comes with it and the waste of damaged imports, while creating local jobs and skills.
A greener workspace
Our factory is planned as a green space, designed to make the most of natural light and ventilation and to keep waste and offcuts in use.
Built to last
Durable fibreglass and metal, replaceable parts and a refinishing service mean our products are made for years of use, not seasons.
Responsible materials
We are working to source more of our materials responsibly, choose lower-impact paints and finishes, and reduce waste across production.
Bring it back
Have old mannequins you no longer use? Bring them to us. We will refurbish what we can for resale or rental and repurpose the rest.
